Season 21 ~ League Schedule
The A.F.F.L. is the Bay Area's original 4 on 4 flag football league played indoors and outdoors year 'round. Established in early 2007, the A.F.F.L. caters to all types of athletes, from the competitive outdoor league & tournament teams, to individual athletes looking to just play and learn the game of football. Our players consist of men, women and teenagers. A.F.F.L. is played exclusively on two fields at MVP Arena.

League Details
• Cost:
$400 per team (registration fee) + $15/per game (referee fee)
($200 due before 1st game, $200 due before week 3, $15 to be paid to referees before all games except championship games of each division)
*Note: A valid credit card is required for the payment plan option. Upon the 3rd week, we will charge any balances still remaining to the credit card on file.
• Time Preference:
$50 per team
Limited spots for time preference & only 70% of first choice game times are guaranteed.
Game times are: 5:10pm, 6:00pm, 6:50pm, 7:40pm, 8:30pm, 9:20pm, and 10:10pm
A 1st & 2nd choice preferred time is required.
• Games:
8 games guranteed
20 minute halves
Top half of divisions make playoffs
• Divisions:
-Elite / 4 man
-Competitive 1 / 4 man
-Competitive 2 / 4 man
-Recreational 1 / 4 man
-Recreational 2 / 4 man
-Coed / 4v4 (Seasonal)*
Availability of divisions based on demand for each season. Divisions must have a minimum of 6 teams in order to commence play.
*Coed division is seasonal. Women are also encouraged to play in the Rec 1 or Rec 2 divisions.
• Requirements:
Minimum of 6 players on roster (Minimum of 3 players required to avoid forfeit)
Maximum of 14 players on roster (All players must participate in a minimum of 3 games with a minimum of 1 game participated during games #1 through #4, in order to be eligible for Week 9 Playoffs)
*Turf shoes or flat-sole rubber shoes only. No cleats or spikes allowed!
AFFL supplies flags (Usage of personal flags allowed)

League Leader Plaques per each league leader category including:(Pass TD's, Rec TD's, Rush TD's, Int's, & Sacks).
• Misc:
Team Rosters Forms are issued to teams before Game #1. Any player who steps on the field must be listed on the form with the team manager's signature at the top where indicated. The Team Roster form will also serve as the team Waiver of liability.
Roster checks are enforced throughout each season. All teams must submit their roster before Game #1. Illegal players caught, on the field, will result in team forfeit. New players, during the season, must be updated on the team roster and submitted to MVP Arena in order to play. Deadline to add players is before Game #4. Players who have not participated in, at least, one game from Game #1 to Game #4 are not eligible for playoff or championship games. All players must participate in, a minimum of, 3 regular season games in order to be eligible for playoff or championship games.
Any player can play on more than one team (must be different divisions)
