Introduction

For most adults playing recreational soccer the opportunity to actually train and interact with a “coach” is not readily available.  Although most for the love of the game and the camaraderie, feeling stagnant in skill development, or handicapped by conditioning can be discouraging.  Adult Soccer Training is an effort to address those needs.

Soccer ABC was conceived as a group of like-minded adults, teaming up to improve our conditioning, strengthen our skills – and actually practice our sport.  Much like “Masters” swimming, we take advantage of knowledgeable coaches as well as leveraging the experience and enthusiasm of the participants.

During one of our training sessions you will get the equivalent of more than a season's worth of practice! We guide you in many drills that improve your touch on the ball, developing your dribbling, trapping, passing, and shooting skills.  We will also work on building agility and strength through stretching and fitness. All skill levels are welcome.   We adjust the training for each individual’s skill and fitness level.

"Practice makes Perfect"

We know repetition is a bad word to many coaches these days that cater to short attention spans and the need for something new every practice, but we believe in repetition.  We are not going to bore you with the same drills in every clinic; however, we will provide enough repetition to give everyone an opportunity to not only learn the skill, but to become comfortable enough with the skill to perform it in a game- imagine that!

Ultimately soccer is a fun sport that we enjoy playing we will work you hard to get past your current barriers, but we will make sure you have fun as well.

The weekly training sessions will last approximately 90 minutes.  The sessions include structured drills and exercises focusing on conditioning, technical skills and game play.  We will conclude with a scrimmage for anyone with any excess energy!

What you need

Training equipment will be provided; however please bring either turf, indoor, or tennis shoes, and shin guards- and plenty of energy!
