Combining the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology

We call FIRST Robotics Competition the ultimate Sport for the Mind. High-school student participants call it "the hardest fun you'll ever have."

Under strict rules, limited time and resources, teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand", hone teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. It's as close to real-world engineering as a student can get.

🚨 Basketball fans 🚨 Notes for Sunday, March 19: • Session 3 games are scheduled for 6:10pm & 8:40pm • Shuttle service will not be available. MVP Arena Parking Garage will be closed but other downtown lots and garages will be open • MVP Arena Box Office will open at 2pm • South Pearl St. in front of MVP Arena remains closed to vehicle traffic • Please give yourself enough time to navigate traffic, potential detours, parking and entry to MVP Arena

The originally scheduled Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band concert at MVP Arena on March 14 has been rescheduled to September 19. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date.

Just a friendly reminder that tonight's Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band's performance has been postponed. We are still working on the rescheduled date and will provide the new information as soon as it is available.

MVP Arena Box Office is closed today, Tuesday March 14. We will reopen tomorrow at 10am.
